Nick Lane is one of the Cortexiphan Children Walter Bishop (Blue) and William Bell (Blue) experimented on in Jacksonville. His main ability is reverse empath. This means he can make other people feel his emotions. He was Olivia Dunham's (Blue) partner in the Cortexiphan Trials. He is suicidal, and that causes the death of four people due to his ability.
In "Over There, Part 1" he dies Over There (Red) on a bridge with Nancy Lewis, with whom he was having a relationship.
